Lines, migraines and TMJ: Botox® and Jeuveau™

Neuromodulator treatment for lines, migraines and TMJ, plus shoulder tension: $11 per unit.

Botox® and Jeuveau™ can soften expression lines, support chronic migraine treatment when appropriate and address TMJ-related masseter tension. Cosmetic plans are customized to your goals, whether you prefer more natural movement or a stronger correction.

Pulse carries both Botox® and Jeuveau™. Jeuveau is a type A botulinum toxin that addresses the same concerns, lasts a comparable length of time, and is equally effective: both carry rewards memberships, which makes it easy for you and your provider to choose the right one for you.

Both are $11 per unit. Ask our team about discounts for parties and new clients.

Treatment areas

Forehead
Decreases the upward pull of the frontalis muscle, softening the horizontal lines across the forehead.
Frown lines
Relaxes the inward contraction between the eyebrows, diminishing the 'eleven' lines that make a resting face look angry.
Eyebrow lift
Lifts heavy brows for a more awake look with a more defined arch. Can be treated separately from crow's feet. Discounted when added to other areas.
Bunny lines
Softens the wrinkles that form at the upper end of the nose when you scrunch. Discounted as an add-on to other areas.
Lip flip
Relaxes the inward pull of the muscles around the lips so more of the lip shows: a 'flipped up' look. It does not add volume, which makes it a good first step for anyone considering filler but not ready to commit.
Smile lift
Relaxes part of the circular muscle around the mouth, lifting only the corners for a subtly more upturned expression.
Downturned mouth (DAOs)
Relaxes the muscle running from the lower jaw to the bottom lip. With age this muscle can pull down harder, creating a permanently frowning appearance.
Dimpled chin
Relaxes the chin muscle responsible for a pebbled or dimpled texture.
TMJ and jaw slimming
Used for jaw pain from TMJ, or aesthetically to slim heavy masseter muscles. Both sides must be treated: weakening one side leaves the other pulling unevenly on the mandible, which worsens TMJ symptoms. Results typically last 3-6 months. FSA and HSA payments accepted.
Neck (platysmal) bands
Injections into the platysma prevent contraction, producing a smoother neck contour and a subtle jawline lift. Best paired with jowl treatment for the lifting effect.
Trapezius / shoulder tension (TrapTox)
Relaxes the trapezius to relieve neck, shoulder and upper back tension caused by stress, posture or overuse: long-lasting relief without an invasive procedure or daily medication.
Migraines
Migraine protocol treatment uses injections at 31 sites across seven head and neck muscle areas: between the eyebrows, upper forehead, above and behind the temples, the back of the head, the highest point of the neck muscles, and the trapezius. These injections target headache days per month rather than wrinkle reduction.

Botox or Jeuveau: how we choose

Clinically, the two are close: both are type A botulinum toxins, both address the same concerns, both last a comparable time. The practical differences come down to how you respond over successive treatments and which rewards membership benefits you. Your provider will make a recommendation and explain it.

Your desired finish matters too. We can preserve more movement or plan a stronger correction while keeping the result balanced. The Pulse approach is softening, not erasing.

Men and neuromodulators

A significant share of neuromodulator treatment at Pulse is for men, and it is not primarily cosmetic. Masseter treatment for jaw clenching and TMJ, TrapTox for shoulder and neck tension, and migraine protocols are common. Where the goal is cosmetic, male dosing and placement are different: the aim is softening a heavy frown, not erasing expression.

Before and after your appointment

Treatment itself is quick. Results build over several days and are typically fully settled around two weeks, which is also when your provider will want to know whether anything needs a touch-up.

Duration varies by area, dose and metabolism. Most patients return roughly every three to four months; TMJ and jaw slimming often hold longer.

Common questions

How much will my treatment cost?
Cost depends on units, which depends on the areas treated and your muscle strength. At $11 per unit your provider can quote an exact number before treatment begins.
Can I use FSA or HSA?
Yes: we take FSA and HSA payments for TMJ treatment.
Will I look frozen?
That is a dosing and placement decision planned with you. We can preserve more movement or create a stronger correction. The house style at Pulse is softening, not erasing.
Does it help migraines?
Neuromodulator migraine treatment uses a specific 31-site protocol across seven head and neck muscle areas, aimed at reducing headache days per month. Ask about candidacy at consultation.
